Born in 1989 in France.

Vic Oh is a self taught visual artist with a Master’s Degree in Art History from the Sorbonne.

Her art is about wild spiritual women about their strength, their fire, their creation power and their dark side; It is about our connection as Humans to the Universe, the connexions between us, the microcosm, and the Cosmos – the macrocosm, our similarities, our roots, our moving energies and how we interact with what is bigger than Us, and yet the same.

Very much influenced by Latin American traditions – being mixed French and Peruvian and raised in Mexico – she uses color language, sacred geometry and symbolism to touch each mind regardless of their language. Thus, elements of Shamanism, totem animals and Nature are represented in many of the works.

As art therapy aims to calm the mind and ease the emotions, Oh’s work has the goal of connection the mind to the spirit bright Latin-American colors and ancestral cultures.

Carlos Castañeda, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Remedios Varo constitute part of her inspirations to offer the viewers a spiritual gate into their own personal emotions.

Psychedelic, visionary, spiritual, feminist, the art is an explosion of mystical secretive messages.

“For me there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length – and there I travel looking, looking breathlessly.” said Don Juan in Castañeda’s “The Teachings of Don Juan”.

She now works in her studio as a permanent artist at 59 Rivoli, an art residency in Paris.
